The back end of Ephesians 3 is a prayer for Spiritual Strength and it’s powerful display of God’s omnipotence.
“20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,…”
We have plans for our lives, write them down, and play out the timeline.
It’s an important exercise because yes, without a vision the people will perish, (Proverbs 29:18) but never forget that whatever plan we make for ourselves, God can do far more abundantly than anything we can think, or ask for.
Let him take control of your life and give you what he has planned.
This isn’t a prosperity gospel reading.
I’m not saying an abundance of riches or even material possessions, all I’m saying is don’t put God in a box.
God asks us to be obedient; I hope we don’t let OUR plans keep us away from the plans that HE has for us.
